Terms of Service
Effective date: October 4, 2026
By accessing canterlotus.com (the "Site") or engaging Canterlotus Digital Consultancy ("Canterlotus", "we", "us") for services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or engage our services.
1. Site Content
Content on this Site, including copy, design, the interactive workspace demo, and the
example sites linked under /examplesites/, is owned by Canterlotus and
provided for informational purposes to illustrate the kind of work we do. Example sites are
illustrative demos. Every business, customer, product, price and order in them is invented
and none of it is an offer to sell anything. Live sites we host for clients, such as Plain
Jane Sourdough, belong to those clients and have their own terms.
2. The Request Form
Submitting the request form is a request for us to get in touch, it is not a contract, an order, or a guarantee of engagement. We reply to genuine inquiries; we may decline work that isn't a good fit and will tell you if that's the case.
Your request is delivered to us through Telegram, as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not put passwords, payment card numbers, or other sensitive information in the form.
Please don't submit the form with abusive content, spam, or automated/bulk submissions. The form is protected by a security check and by rate limits. We may block or limit sources that abuse it, and we limit repeat submissions from VPN and data-center networks more strictly than from ordinary connections. If a limit stops you, try again later from your regular connection.
3. Engagement of Services
Any actual project, a website, a logistics system, an AI assistant, an internal tool, is governed by a separate, specific agreement (a quote, statement of work, or contract) agreed to before work begins. These Terms cover use of the Site; they do not by themselves create an obligation to perform paid work.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing for a specific project, code, data, and third-party accounts (hosting, domains, etc.) set up for a client's project are the client's property on delivery or on payment in full, whichever the project agreement specifies.
4. Prohibited Uses
You may not:
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract content from the Site for republication elsewhere
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Site or its infrastructure
- Use the request form for spam, phishing, or unrelated solicitation
- Bypass, test, or interfere with the form's security check or rate limits, or submit the form by automated means
- Use the Site in a way that violates applicable law
5. Third-Party Services
The Site relies on third-party services, including Cloudflare (hosting, security, the Turnstile check and cookieless traffic statistics), Telegram (delivery of requests), and Google Fonts. Their availability and terms are outside our control, and we are not responsible for their outages or practices.
6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
The Site and its demo content are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canterlotus is not liable for damages arising from your use of the Site. We may change, suspend, or remove any part of the Site at any time. Liability for actual client work is governed by that project's own agreement.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time; changes take effect when posted. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
